I first became interested in chiropractic when I was a teenager. For years, I suffered with chronic headaches. I was always in pain and never went a day without a headache. After no medical answer could be found, my mom brought me to a chiropractor on the advice of a friend. He determined that problems in my neck were actually causing my headaches and that he thought chiropractic adjustments could help me. For the first time in years, I had hope about being able to live without headaches. It took several months of consistent care before I started getting the results I was hoping for, but persistence paid off! I will never forget the first day I woke up and realized I didn’t have a headache.
Over the next several months, I started to feel an increase in my energy levels and my life began to change for the better. I had always known I wanted to be involved in a career related to health and this experience made me want to help others as I had been helped. After attending the University of Lethbridge, I went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic where I met my husband. We moved back to Lethbridge to start our practice in 2004.
Being a chiropractor is both challenging and extremely rewarding. I continue to be amazed at the power of the human body to restore and heal itself when given the opportunity.
I originally grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and I have been a member of the Lethbridge community since 2004. Since relocating to Canada, my wife and I have enjoyed helping families on their path toward health and wellness. Chiropractic has helped me personally with a number if issues and I would encourage you to come in and find out what chiropractic can do for you and your family.
Before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, I obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from the University of Wyoming. Since then, I have attended multiple seminars; Logan Basic Technique, Activator Methods, multiple extremity adjusting techniques focusing mostly on gentle, effective chiropractic care. I have also attended various nutrition and herbal supplementation seminars and am always excited about learning more about how to help people obtain their best potential. I look forward to meeting you!
I grew up on a farm and went to school in Foremost, Alberta. I now live in Lethbridge, I am married and have two adult children. My first experience with chiropractic care started in 1985 (when I was, let’s say, younger) after hurting my back working in nursing homes as a PC. From then on, I continue to put my health “in their hands.”
Since I started working at West Lethbridge Family Chiropractic in December 2007 as a CA (Chiropractic Assistant), I have seen, first hand, some of the excellent care and adjustments that both Drs. Amy and Elliott have given to our patients.
Everyone here, including the patients, are awesome! I look forward to seeing all of you on your next visit to our office.
Good Health to Everyone!
